There is not enough space to write about every aspect of our stay, to test the truth of our review we suggest you get a commitment in writing from the owner to promise that for 100% of your stay you will have electricity and hot water for each day and night and that if not you will receive in return a refund. Yes its 2026 not 1826 .Ask for current photos of the thermostat in the kitchen so you can see the temp of the water which allows you to have a shower or not. The owner does not speak any english so locals may have a different experience than we did. This stay did happen and the spanish police were not involved at all in our stay this is untrue, the owner is defensive which we understand as previous reviewers have not communicated some of the issues we faced and the truth is hard to hear for him . There is lots of traffic and road noise, there are lots of mosquitos from the canals this is a fact. So Day one - no hot water / day 2 - 2 power outages /Day 3- power outages /Day 4 -no hot water/Day 5 -no hot water and power outages. There was zero hot water in either bathroom shower & none from the taps in the kitchen , and the power trips off when you use two or more switches. The apartment Relies on solar power & this is not reliable as per the thermostat in the kitchen so you can't have a shower until the temperature reaches 46 degrees. Clearly this is a complex system, Javier was unable and unwilling to communicate we had to spend hours in the fuse box trying to have power for basic tasks, this is unacceptable for a property with international guests, then he blamed us for being stupid and said previous guests could work it out in his whatsapp messages which i still have ? The photos were taken years ago that's the truth the furniture is worn, cracked and stained. We realized straight away that this property was a mistake for us and we asked to be released from the booking he refused.

In our 5 night stay we met once and communicated with Javier who does not speak any English. This was a massive problem. He promised to help with parking & luggage as the apartment is accessed via a lane way then 50 steep steps up to the front door & then 20 steps up to laundry & outdoor terrace, Apart is on a canal so many mosquitos and bugs I was bitten on the legs and face overnight as I slept. There are cleaner & safer parts of town, this location is on a very busy 4 way intersection, 24 hours noise with a service station across the road & this prevents comfortable use of the balcony & terrace. He never helped us; he rushed us through the checkin and left. nowhere to unload luggage because the car spots are always full. Day one - no hot water / day 2 - 2 power outages /Day 3- power outages /Day 4 -no hot water/Day 5 -no hot water and power outages. It is likely that the photos were taken years ago and now the appliances all need replacing, the furniture is worn, cracked and stained. We realised straight away that this property was a mistake for us and we asked for a refund, he refused. He wanted to send a cleaning lady in the middle of the night ??it was ridiculous.

Lovely modern, spacious apartment a short walk from the town centre, and close to the bus station. We were met at the apartment by the hosts who were very welcoming and gave us lots of useful tips of places to visit, restaurants, etc. The apartment has lovely views across the river and there is a roof top terrace. We were very comfortable here.

Xavier is a great host giving lots of additional information to us regarding days out, what to do, and even restaurant recommendations. The apartment is perfectly located for exploring and an easy walk to the main square for access to restaurants/ bars, etc. Inside the apartment is perfect. Everything you need for a nice break. Beautifully decorated and clean 2 bedrooms. It was so easy to relax and enjoy the apartment. Particularly nice was the boat ride over to Villa Real San Antonio ( Portugal) again recommended by Xavier. If you are looking for a nice location and a beautiful apartment with easy access to tour Southern Spain and Portugal, then I could 100% recommend Panoramico Guardiana Atico.

“In all a lovely Appartment”

The apartment is spacious and really well equipped - there is all you need in the kitchen. The main room is very light and has a small terrace with a beautiful view. There is a big rooftop terrace Javier from the company Vacation Ayamonte was very kind and helpful- he answered quickly on Whats app and fixed some problems. We will recommend a fantastic restaurant near the appartment: it’s called LPA, they serve delicious food in beautiful surroundings to a reasonable price.

The location of the apartment was excellent - a short walk to the town with bars and restaurants. Mercedes and Xavier were welcoming and the apartment was well appointed with everything provided including toiletries which was unexpected.

The apartment is outstanding, testfully decorated with a beautiful view. It has all the comforts and a perfect location; within a walking distance to an old town. Comuting to wanderful beachiches takes only 10 minutes by car. The hosts are very nice and helpful. If you come from Portugal, be aware that there is a time difference both countries; we came 1 hour later than we were supposed to, but the hosts were very understanding, which we appreciate very much!
