“Amazing! We plan to return!”
Wonderful apartment in the perfect location for exploring Avilés. Very quiet street but in the centre of town. Parking on the ground floor of the building. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything (and more) that you could need. Comfortable bed, nice bedding, plenty of towels. Two bathrooms, both with good size showers and good water pressure. Excellent communication, including lots of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in Avilés and the surrounding area. Avilés itself exceeded our expectations. A beautiful town with plenty to see and lots of great restaurants and bars. Very friendly locals. Easy drive to lots of other towns so it's a great place to explore from - Oviedo, Gijón, Salinas (sandy beach just 10 minutes away), Cudillero, Luanco. The mountains are also stunning, and the excellent roads make it an easy drive. We drove from León and the views are breathtaking.
