Within 5 minutes’ drive of the centre of Avesta, Ting1903 Bed and Breakfast offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Room was large and clean. We were the only ones there, no staff. Breakfast, well not really anything I can say about that. Swedes might like it?

“OlliH Finland”
Excellent trekking route right next to the river. Really nejoyed the run on the evening to Avesta and back on the other side of the river. Also made a quick loop to see the Avesta horse statue next to the highway.

The couple that run the place are amazing, very friendly and accommodating to those of us rude enough to travel to Sweden without speaking Swedish. The room was huge and very comfortable and we loved the little touches with the breakfast. We plan to use this place as a stopover whenever we visit family in Sweden so we will be returning.

“Good option for Avesta, which seemed to be somewhat limited in options”
The location was further from Avesta than we expected, but it was lovely on the water, so there was that trade off.
