Offering a spa centre and fitness centre, Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa is located in Avatoru, in the northwest part of the Rangiroa Region, which is a 1-hour flight from the islands of Tahiti or Bora Bora. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and free WiFi. Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa is bordered by a white sandy beach and a turquoise lagoon. It offers modern furnishings with a touch of Tahitian style. There are 10 over-water bungalows at this property as well as 25 villas with private pools, set within the resorts coconut grove. “Best property in rangiroa, hopefully will be overhauled in 2026/11”
It is the best property in rangiroa. To be fair rangiroa is a bit limited due to extreme insularity and supply constraints. Activities you can book from the restaurant pretty nice and I would even say excellent. Due to issues with our tool we got upgraded to villa and that was excellent.

“Beautiful resort, great views and diving access”
The resort is very beautiful and the view is breathtaking. It’s a great place, especially for diving, as you are picked up and dropped off directly at the pier of the resort. The restaurant was always good and the staff were very friendly and very attentive, that really stood out to me!

“Paradise in Paradise, the best stay in French Polynesia.”
We loved our stay at Kia Ora Resort & Spa in Rangiroa. Location is perfect for diving, it is just 5 minutes from the Tiputa Pass by boat. Staff is very solicitous and efficient. Rooms are comfortable, air condition works perfectly, the area is very quiet and peaceful. The restaurant is excellent, although a bit pricey. All in all, I just say there is no way we would stay anywhere in Rangiroa besides Kia Ora when we go back, and we will !

“The perfect hotel”

“Lovely honeymoon”
The entire resort is simply beautiful and very well maintained. Our private villa was fantastic, spacious and private. The restaurant and bar are also fantastic and located right by the water. The breakfast was also very good. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating, especially in the restaurant. You have all sort of activities available (diving, lagoon exploration, etc...) Cherry on the cake: airport is 10-min away so you can really enjoy until the very last minute.
