I loved the serenity of the place. The host Sharnyta and her family were very hospitable and when an issue arose it was dealt with straight away. We would book this house again when we go back to Rarotonga. Thank you for a great getaway

Very friendly, helpful host, who picked us up from the airport and returned us to the airport after our stay. The accommodation was well supplied with consumables. Very clean, roomy accommodation surrounded by a large garden area. Easy walking distance from the town. Excellent choice! Strongly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment Sharnyta kindly offered to pick us up from the airport to the moment we left, our stay was nothing short of amazing. Despite our late-night arrival, she arranged a free airport pickup which made our arrival so much easier. The hospitality was warm and genuine, exactly what we were hoping for. We were invited to join a beautiful dinner in the front house with her family and other guests, which gave us such an authentic and welcoming experience. Sharnyta's Mum also took the time to give us a tour of the property and share the history of the land, which made us feel truly connected to the place. Communication was 10/10 – quick, clear, and always helpful. Meeting Sharnyta’s mum was also a highlight, she welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home from the very start. The homestay itself was comfortable, simple, and close to town, making it the perfect base for exploring Rarotonga while still enjoying the relaxed island lifestyle. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting an authentic touch of Rarotonga, genuine hospitality, and a peaceful place to stay besides the roosters but believe me they are everywhere in Raro so there is no running away from them. We would definitely book again.

Location was close to the meeting venue, within walking distance. The house was spacious, comfortable and clean. Host was very friendly and hospitable.

“Beautiful humble home”

It was always good to return to the house with the air conditioning after a very hot day out. Waking up to the beautiful garden of flowers and we'll maintained grounds. The dairy down the end of the driveway was also a bonus for that morning milk and eggs.

“Perfect place to base yourself for an awesome stay in raro!”

The place had everything we needed. We had such a lovely week. Will definitely be back again! Having WiFi was an extra bonus.

“Perfect Stay”

We had a wonderful stay here! The place is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and has everything we needed. The location is only 5mn walk to Avarua town centre, markets, bus stop. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking our Sunday meals when the shops were closed. We love the beautifully maintained orchard which gave the whole place a peaceful feeling. Sharnyta and her mom were incredibly helpful. Not only did Sharnyta pick us up and drop us off at the airport, but Aunty Nono also kindly gave us rides to and from Nikao Beach on her way twice. They're one of Progressive dinner hosts and we were so lucky to be invited along. Such thoughtful hospitality made our trip even more special! We’ll definitely be back!

“Our home away from home!”

We loved everything about Sharnytas property. The house was located on their family land and was very private away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads. There was a small shop at the front of the driveway that we also found very helpful and convenient. We loved waking up and watching the chickens run around. Eating fresh fruit off the trees outside the house and just sitting in the front balcony just admiring how beautifully kept the property is. We spent most of our time out during the day but was so nice to come home shower and sit under some aircon while we wind down and have dinner. The property had everything we needed and this was really our home away from home we didn’t want to leave. Sharnytas family also does the progressive dinners and can arrange airport pick up just need to arrange with her directly. The property was very homely and we felt safe and really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for having us and we can’t wait to come back!

Loved that it was tucked away from the main road but still located central to town. The outdoor area is surrounded by lush fruit trees and planted flowers which was beautiful. The hostess was easygoing, friendly and exceptional. She helped us with all our enquiries. Definitely rating our stay a 10/10!

“Hidden gem at a great price”

Absolutely beautiful, both the scenery and the staff. Very helpful and welcoming. The home has everything you need plus wildlife for the kids to interact with. 5min walk to town, supermarket, markets and buses. Beautiful Nu coconut onsite and a dairy at the end of the drive. Has privacy off the main road with the local conviences very close. We can't rate Sharnyta’s highly enough, she is lovely and we'd definitely stay again

“Hidden gem”

It is a lovely place hidden amongst nature. Has everything you need. Sharnyta is so lovely and willing to help along with her wonderful mother and animals 😍 We could definitely come back

No doubt it's a clean place. The owner was amazing. I found that the little renovation could add some more pleasant experience of stay.
