Charming location about 25 mins from Clermont-Ferrand. An amazing old building which has been thoughtfully converted to a small hotel, with a charming host. The catering arrangements are a little unusual but the food was excellent.

Fantastic place to stop over on our way back to blighty. Tim and Ingrid are superb hosts. Like home from home for us. Great set menu evening meal and wine. Also had a great breakfast delivered to your room. Enjoyed it thoroughly, and it was a real shame it was only for one night. Tim and Ingrid really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Room was great with nice touches like Netflix if you want to catch up or chill out. Wine very good. I honestly cannot fault it. The best place in our 2 week trip around France. Bed super comfy, coffee selection, tea, kettle etc... Thankyou both.

Sometimes you arrive at a hotel and know it’s going to be good. The welcome, the rooms and the set dinner were all excellent. Well done fabulous place, we will be back.

Quiet location with dinner available. Great spot to stop on the way elsewhere or as a base for local leisure activities.

“Comfortable Hotel with great food”

This was the second time I have stayed at the hotel, it is very comfortable and the evening meal was superb. Breakfast choices were made online the night before and the items we chose were of good quality. I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Breakfast were nice quality and quantity, and very conveniently delivered to the room at the time we woke up each of the 3 days we spent at the hotel We had previous stayed at Issoire but quality of Chabanettes hotel is not comparable so we'll come back The children liked the video game on the TV and helped mum get ready more quietly meanwhile

Stunning location. Food is good. Room is comfortable. Reasonabale value for money.

We stayed in the family room which was one of the best we stayed in. The beds were very very comfortable and my children liked to play on the Sega computer. As dinner we had the tapas menu and it was great. The breakfast was very good too. All in all we had a very pleasant overnight stay!

This hotel is an annual stop on our way down to Spain. The Hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, the hosts excellent and the food exceptional especially the evening meal.
