This place is amazing the breakfast was fantastic just like being at home . The host is very knowledgeable about the history of the area and not to mention recommendations of the local resturants. He also booked us a table and when we got there the resturant people knew who we were , the food was fantasticand very well priced , I would recommend not just an over night stay but a few days so you can take in the 50 years before Christ town . It's an absolute must place to stay you can not fault it

“Perfect quiet place to visit Autun”

Warm welcome from the owner. Very quiet location on a hill at 1km from the city center. We stayed there only one night and it was perfect (simple rooms in the basement with shared bathroom - all very clean). Don’t come here if you don’t want to have nice talks with other guests at breakfast: that is the spirit of a “chambre d’hôte”, the human experience! The breakfast is wonderful: homemade crepes, omelettes, jams… Nice walks nearby, good advices from the owner: we recommend this place for its perfect location and it’s good price/quality aspect.

I had a wonderful stay. Phillipe was very accommodating and made sure I felt at home, even if it was only for a night. Amazing breakfast, and I definitely would like to come back again to explore the beautiful city and surroundings of Autun.

A warm welcome with a much needed cold drink set the tone for my stay, providing a map of Autun and recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. My room was small but adequate for a single nights stay. Breakfast had the added bonus of home cooking, pancakes and omelette with eggs from their chickens

Very nice landscape and town view from the terrace; walking distance to the historical centre with many restaurant offering good dinner.

Idyllic. The location of this little hotel is lovely. It's within the village and someone's home. I has a lovely feel to it and our host was lovely. She made us feel welcome straight away. Our room was for a family, with a double and two singles. Plenty of space.

Lovely accommodation on the edge of Autun, which is a lovely town. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast (pancakes as well as the normal things) was delicious. The owner was very helpful with information about this peaceful area of France and great suggestions on places to visit.
