Located just off Interstate 35 and less than 10 minutes’ drive from central Austin, this motel features an outdoor pool. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is less than 10 miles away. Cable TV and beautiful wooden floors are found in each bright room at Motel 6 Normal – Bloomington Area. Air conditioning and free local calls are also included. The Austin South Motel 6 reception desk is open 24-hours to serve guests. A launderette is also available. The 6th Street Entertainment District is less than 5 miles from the motel. “fine for short stay”
close to airport, close-ish (by taxi) to centre/downtown; nice staff; very comfy bed; perfect internet; good, cheap restaurant right next to it; provided towels & soap; felt relatively safe as solo female traveller (some of the doors look like they don’t close all the way)

“It was comfortable enough considering the cheap cost.”
The staff were very nice, the bed was comfortable, had a large flatscreen TV. There's a microwave but I didn't get chance to use it. Right beside the motel was The Donn's which had great food, so that was very convenient!

“Cockroaches and no hot water. The worst experience ever. Left before my checkout date.”
The room was terrible. No hot water one towel smell like cockroaches. Cockroaches would come out at night. I left before the 18th. I left January 15 and did not get any money back for the time I wasn’t staying there.
