“Charming lodge, amazing hot tub, fabulous location, easy stay.”
Beautiful property, and super location, on the edge of glorious village of Auriac-du-Perigord. The hot tub was a totally win for us, set in the forest next to the little house. The house is relatively private though two larger lets are directly behind it. We weren’t troubled by noise as the type of guests are respectful. Lovely to have space to roam, and the forest to take out the heat of the sun. Thankfully the kitchen was stocked with most things, lovely to have oil/salt & pepper etc just eases the stay with the little essentials. The host was kind enough to message us it was available earlier in the day, which I wish we could have taken advantage of. Love being able to go and see the horses and our kids to walk around the site. If you’re visiting in July and August check the night food market ( utterly charming) and the quaint vide grenier on Sundays) as well as other food night markets, this was an unexpected surprise and so lovely to join in on. Our host was really lovely. Gorgeous towels and soft pretty bed linens. Lovely to have nice bathrobes.
