Overview
Located in the market town of Aulnay-de-Saintonge, 41 km from Cognac, this hotel is housed in an 18th-century stone building. Guests can enjoy an alcoholic drink or a cup of tea in the garden. This was a small, traditional French hotel in a sleepy town. We only stayed for 2 nights but it was comfortable, welcoming and tucked away just off of the main square.

The hotel is situated just of the main village square in a quiet location. Our host was very welcoming and helpful, and the room was absolutely charming. The evening meal was very good, and the breakfast, including a lightly boiled egg, delicious.
