“Poor”
This was our second stay at Shareen’s, having previously visited in November 2023 (booked via Booking.com) and enjoyed it enough to return. We booked through Airbnb nearly a year in advance and received no communication about any issues. We paid the £60 balance a few weeks before arrival. After travelling over 40 hours, we were met by Shareen and told not to unload as she “had bad news.” She said she could not host us for the agreed price because she “was not a slave,” and claimed she had cancelled via Airbnb, which was untrue. She refused a bank transfer for the difference, saying Airbnb would detect it. Instead, she asked us to cancel and rebook via Booking.com at a higher rate, mentioning another potential guest. As we wouldn’t have been refunded, she contacted Airbnb to cancel and refund us. We then rebooked, paying £45 extra. Although resolved, this should never have happened. She had a year to address pricing. The stress after such a long journey was unnecessary. Sadly, we won’t return.

“Clean modern accommodation near the sea”
The place was modern and tastefully decorated and was spotlessly clean. We took a morning walk down to the beach and had breakfast when we got back. A relaxing morning to start our holiday.

The property is beautiful, spotlessly clean and Shareen works incredibly hard to keep it that way. It’s exceptional. The location is walking distance from the beach and right in the bus route, although it is up quite a steep hill. The kitchen dining area is located downstairs and offers a large selection of continental breakfast, tea and coffee options for self service. There is a microwave and fridge freezer for the guests use which is really helpful, along with a large comfortable sofa, books board games and tv for relaxing. My lovely room was on the first floor, next door to the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable with nice crisp bedding, and it was nice to have carpets to walk on! Shareen thoughtfully supplies a dressing gown, towels, shower gels and shampoo for guest use during their stay, and provided homemade focaccia bread scrambled eggs on weekends. Her home is beautiful , and her welcome to her guests is wonderful, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the bed and breakfast, and feel very privileged to have met Shareen. A very special lady. Thankyou for everything during my stay.
