“A pleasant stopover though without nearby parking”
A charming old-fashioned hotel in the town centre. We had booked the deluxe room, overlooking the street but not noisy. It is spacious, and the bed is big and very comfortable. The furnishings are old fashioned but comfortable and the bathroom is fairly modern, though the bath itself would not fill. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was acceptable and rather original with friendly service (after a while). Toast is not understood. The receptionist kindly arranged to store our medications in their refrigerator.
