Absolutely beautiful! I loved every minute of our stay. The staff are so nice and very helpful especially David who couldn't do enough for us. Our accommodation was just stunning. I had never heard of the estate before and was a little sceptical before we arrived but my word what a gem. Also few places offer such luxurious accommodation and allow you to bring your dog. What comes across in abundance is how much love and care the family put into maintaining the estate not just for themselves but for everyone who visits to enjoy. I can't wait to go back! I found a book of poetry on one of the many shelves, closed my eyes and randomly picked a page. It is my own interpretation but these 4 lines on a blank page truly captured the moment for me. "Lying down for pleasure And rising with delight Such was our practice If I could only resume it". You'll understand when you visit x

“Run down and shabby accommodation in nice surroundings with nice restaurant.”

Nice garden atmosphere; mostly quiet. Restaurant on the property serving delicious food on weekends, at high cost. Friendly staff in the restaurant. Darling dog, Crumble, was toppers. She made up for some of the shortcomings of the accommodation.

Accommodation was beautiful and exactly as photos on website suggests. Very peaceful..... Food was gorgeous. Staff very friendly. This is not a hotel, it's Accommodation, with a restaurant on the grounds. Beautiful peaceful atmosphere. We brought our small, well behaved dog.

The facilities and staff exceeded expectations. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. The food was exceptional. Very dog friendly. The gardens were beautiful, a very scenic location.

It was a very beautiful property. The villa was stunning. Food in restaurant was gorgeous. Staff were lovely. We were unable to check in until 16:30 but they kept us updated.

All staff were very kind to us, and we were greeted with a tour of the studio and gardens upon arrival. The studio apartment was exactly as we had hoped. We had no issue with parking, cleanliness, hot water, window blinds or communication with the host. The heating had been left on for us upon arrival too, which was a lovely touch considering the cold January weather. We also enjoyed the option of connecting to the speaker provided for music and movies!

We really liked the calmness of the area, the stable house was amazing and everything we needed was there. The brunch we had as well in the restaurant/cafe the next morning was brilliant. We will 100% be back when we need a break to the countryside.

One of the most breathtaking properties I have stayed at. The history, gardens and the villa itself is a very special experience. Stylish, comfortable, generous in its amenities. Wonderful restaurant on the grounds too. Truly magical.

The location is perfect. Not far away from Newbridge & Carlow. It’s not too far off the motorway so it is easy accessible & although is close to busy roads, it is so peaceful & quiet! The grounds are lovely to walk around. The host is lovely & so helpful! The accommodation is absolutely stunning!
