Overview
Situated 10 minutes’ drive from Athlone town centre, Moynure House B&B features free on-site parking, a garden and a spacious lounge where guests can relax and enjoy the well-stocked library. A number of golf courses can also be reached within a 10-minute drive. Free Wi-Fi is provided in each room at Moynure, as well as a TV and a hairdryer. Ironing facilities can also be provided on request. A freshly cooked breakfast is served each morning in the dining room which overlooks green pastures. Angling, sailing and swimming can be enjoyed on the nearby rivers and lakes, with many walking and cycling trails also on offer. The historic site of Athlone Castle is situated in the town centre and dates back to the 1100’s.

“Great property, all you need and close enough in a taxi to Athlone if you fancy a beer!”
Lovely house with pleasant views. All the amenities you need. The bed was a little hard for me but not for the others so that is just me. We loved the peace and quiet. The host helped us organise a taxi to get into Athlone. Would definitely recommend and will more than likely be back next year

“Lovely peaceful stay”
The space inside and out was lovely, very peaceful and relaxing. Really nice to have a full kitchen to use and the ability to sit outside. The host was lovely and recommended a trip to Clonmacnoise which was one of the highlights of our trip.
