Our favorite place in Sri Lanka! This is our third time staying here. The villa is incredibly cozy and comfortable, with one of the best locations on the entire coast. It is hidden away in the jungle, which provides amazing peace and quiet and a complete sense of connection with nature. At the same time, the location is highly convenient: there are excellent restaurants right nearby, and Ahangama, where you can find absolutely anything you need, is just a 5-7 minute motorbike ride away. We will definitely be coming back!

The house is very spacious with comfortable master bedroom with ac, huge living room, kitchen, restroom and 2 more bedrooms if required. It is somehow perfectly combines being shadowed (which is very important during hot days) and full of light. But what I like the most is the cozy terrace looking at the garden full of trees and other greens.

Really nice house and friendly hosts! They were really caring and always available for questions. The house is in a quiet area surrounded by a beautiful garden with some monkeys. If you stay there you should probably rent a scooter as it is a 15 minutes walk from the main road.

* İ love that it is a family house, still have some spirit in the air and represents a local culture and lifestyle * fully equipped kitchen is such a pleasure to have * Green yard and garden furniture * Privacy * Spaciousness * Loved the style: all this old wooden windows, wooden furniture, architectural details * The pleasure was to watch the birds which visited the yard, around 20 spicies, some have nest inside garden trees. * We rented scooter from our host, they brought it on our arrival to the house * To stay in the village was nice for me * The beach in front of the house is not polluted, possible to swim, and to surf. Sunsets are very good, as sun falls down into the ocean * Friendly owner of the house, made his best in hospitality

The villa is much more beautiful in real life than in the photo. very good location! The villa is located not far from the beautiful Kabalana beach - 5 minutes by scooter and very close to the beautiful Koggala lake. The villa is very large, it has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a large living room. You also have access to a large outdoor area. we enjoyed our stay at this villa! The owners are very friendly and always ready to help in any situation! We became friends) Thank you very much 🙏🏻

“Felt as at home in the beautiful house with the best hosts”

We had a fantastic stay at Eco Willow - Kathaluwa. The house is specious and very comfortable. As there were 2 of us, we used only 1 bedroom, but there are actually 3 of them in the house - so family with kids or 2 couples will be comfortable here. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything one might need - fridge, stove, blender, kettle, all the tableware etc. What is important and not that common for Sri Lanka - there is also a washing machine in the house and 2 big flashlights which assure the whole place is illuminated even during power cuts. Everything is very clean and even new. And there are plenty of towels the guests might need. The outside terrace and garden is just perfect for cozy evenings with barbecue with which the house is also equipped. WiFi is fast. And off course I cant not mention the hospitality of the house owners - we felt very welcomed during our visit. As our stay appeared to be on Sri Lanka's New Year our fantastic hosts arranged for us traditional dinner! Which was not only very sweet but SO tasty! We were so lucky to be the guests of Eco Willow - Kathaluwa and are happy to recommend it to the other guests (and hope to come back here by ourselves for sure).
