“Wonderful”

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very clean and neat. Bathrooms a bit small but efficient. The entire place is so nice and originally painted in Nubian style. After being in Egypt for a while, it is a nice change of culture and perspective. The owner is great, very nice, kind, super efficient and accommodating. The food was great and we always felt comfortable. Reaching the place can be a bit tricky, but it is part of the experience. If you are looking for a nice comfortable place outside the mass tourism, this is the place.

Great host, great location at the Nubian village, a bit far from the noise and chaos of the city, but that’s what makes it special. Great atmosphere.

Very well maintained and managed, Mohammed is very attentive and very helpful with every request. One of the best place to stay in Aswan without a doubt. Very clean, comfortable and freshly cooked meals with very affordable pricing. Would highly recommend.

The included breakfast was a REAL treat. We also ordered the grilled chicken dinner that was also satisfying. The food was prepared by the host's mother, which makes us feel good about supporting a family business. The host was extremely hospitable without being intrusive. There's also a really cool common area where we met other travelers and talked for hours on end. The vibe there is really great, especially if you like being within a local village. It was calm, quiet and peaceful. We could not ask for better while being in Aswan.

“Wholesome”

As a solo traveller I'm usually skeptical on where i choose to rest my head at night especially in countries im not familiar with. Choosing this accommodation was the best choice i could've possibly made as the staff and the manager was able to make me feel at home. I arrived late to this accommodation and the manager kept on checking up on me to make sure i arrived safe , the next day i had a tour booked for the early hours in the morning and because of this the manger made me a customisied breakfast so i wouldn't be left hungary throughout the morning . In regards to comfort and experience i would highly recommend spending a few nights as you'll have the feel of a vibrant african world. The accommodation layout is beautiful and i can't wait to bring 30 people with me next time I stay.

After traveling for 7 months now ,this hotel is top 3. Very welcoming owner and very keen to make his guests happy. I extended because i liked the place and the staff. Breakfast is good that is included. I can highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Malindy KA Guesthouse, located in the beautiful Nubian Village right by the Nile. The setting was peaceful, with stunning river views. Mohamed, the host, was incredibly welcoming, greeting us warmly even though we arrived late at night. He prepared packed breakfasts for our early 4:00 a.m. tour and arranged a taxi for us without any hassle. The facilities were excellent — clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. The whole village had a warmhearted, friendly atmosphere that made our experience even more special. I highly recommend staying here for a true taste of Nubian hospitality.

Our stay at Malind KA was simply unforgettable! Located at the top of a Nubian community, on the opposite bank from downtown Aswan, the hotel offers an authentic and culturally rich experience. The staff is extremely friendly, hospitable, and always ready to help — without a doubt, the best hospitality we experienced on our entire trip! The breakfast is excellent, featuring traditional halal dishes, making every morning a special experience. The hotel’s architecture and vibrant colors are a highlight in themselves, reflecting the essence of Nubian culture in every detail. Moreover, the hotel follows the concept of community-based tourism: members of the local community prepare the meals, take care of the hotel, and offer additional services such as transportation and local handicrafts. The community’s souk, easily accessible from the hotel, is the best we found in all of Egypt — a true gem for those looking for authentic, handmade pieces. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and enriching experience!

Very clean and nice renovated old house. Hamo is the owner and was very helpful, kindly person. The breakfast was amazing. The village was very colorful by the river and exotic.
