Best place i could ever live in here! Big enough room, extra comfy bed, very clean, very quiet! The veranda outside has an amazing Nile view for lazy evenings and dreaming! The spot is located on the West bank, easy to go to the East bank with the small boat and come back. You can also take the tuk tuk and get all around for mini shopping. But the best thing about maghrabi's is the owner! Hosam is an excellent host, very friendly and willing to make things easier for you. Smiley and kind! Of course i will stay here when i come again next year!! Hosam, thank you for everything my friend!!! Health and happiness to you and your family!!

This guesthouse was a serene stay away from the hustle and bustle of Aswan. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended for those wanting a peaceful stay on the west bank of Aswan.

This is a true hidden gem in Aswan! The location is so peaceful and beautiful and accommodation is comfortable and clean. However, the hospitality of Hossam and his brother is what makes this place unforgettable. Their home cooked meals are delicious and reasonably priced and they also offer free boat crossing to the East Bank. Truly, the people in the village are lovely and we wish we could've stayed here longer!

Great location, far away from the noisy city centre but also right in the middle of a natural, family-friendly neighbourhood, among the fields and the animals! In 10 minutes (and for free!), the hotel staff will drop you off on the East bank, where you can get a taxi. Also, the room exceeded our expectations: not huge, but classy, with a beautiful bathroom and a balcony! Best value we encountered during our 1-month trip in Egypt! This place is good for birdspotting!

Service was impecable and probably the location in front of the Nile is better than any other in Aswan. Moreover, the food was amazing.

“Delightful place”

Very peaceful location on the West Bank, with a large garden where you can relax, eat and look at the Nile and the birds, especially in the later afternoon and early morning. Room and bathroom are large, simple but comfortable, with all you need for a few nights. The selection of dishes for dinner is limited but the food is very good and absolutely inexpensive. We ate there three nights out of three and never felt the need to go somewhere else! The staff is super kind and make you feel really at home without being intrusive in any way.

“Quiet Nubian Comfort”

It's a quiet, cosy place with a home stay vibe. You're pretty much on your own. As a solo female traveller I felt very comfortable during my stay at Maghrabi's They also provide a packed breakfast ( even at 3 am! ) and help make travel arrangements. I got a good deal on my shared transfer to Luxor.. If you're looking for a place with a bit of quiet and warm Nubian hospitality, this is your place!

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house. It’s such a peaceful place, surrounded by nature, which made it incredibly relaxing. At the same time, it’s very conveniently located with easy access to the city — the perfect balance between tranquility and accessibility. The staff were exceptionally friendly and supportive, always ready to help with anything we needed. They truly made us feel welcome. The breakfast was also very good, fresh, and a great way to start the day. I highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a calm and comfortable stay close to the city.

Although we had booked, there was hesitancy in appreciaiting our arrival, but the room had been prepared. The room - though dark - was comfortable and a good size for suitcases. Food was of decent quality. The view were super and the atmosphere in a Nubian home was special too.

Amazing location and great atmosphere next to the Nile river. We loved the views of the river every morning and the many places where you can relax. The rooms were cosy and designed in a traditional and authentic Nubian style, outstanding! The Tombs of the Nobles are just a few minutes of walking away. They also offer a free ferry to Aswan city centre!

During the three stays I had in Aswan, Maghrabi's Guest house was by far the best experience ever. The place feels like a small paradise, surrounded by mango trees and located directly on the banks of the Nile. I had booked only three nights, but as soon as I arrived, I decided to extend my stay to more than ten days. The surrounding area is a very clean and peaceful environment. The owners are extremely kind, generous, and welcoming. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful. The place also provides a boat that can take you to the other side of the Nile if you want to explore the city, available free of charge from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. They also have a very skilled chef, and having dinner there is an experience you will never regret. The prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend trying the fried fish with rice. Special thanks to Mr. Taha, the manager, for his kindness and generosity. I even asked for a boat trip to Kitchener’s Island, and he refused to charge me for it, even though it was supposed to be an extra service that was not originally included. They also arranged an airport transfer for me at a very reasonable price. Many thanks as well to Mr. Hossam and Mr. Sayed for their politeness, kindness, and warm hospitality. This is definitely an experience I will repeat again.
