The hotel is in an extraordinary location between the upper and lower barrages and has an amazing view of Philae temple. It means you have to take a small shuttle boat to go anywhere but that was part of the charm, was easy to organise and taxis know where to drop you off and pick you up. It also means its very quiet. The infinity pool is beautiful and friends we were with also enjoyed the spa treatments. The on site restaurant and bar is very good and reasonably priced and the hotel will organise a breakfast box if you are leaving early for a trip or for an early flight.

Great hotel, beautiful location! 😃 great staff! Sami, Ibrahim and Islam in the restaurant were brilliant and the staff on the check in desk where super friendly and helpful! Hotel was very clean and had great views.

My recent stay at Benben by Dhara Hotels was truly exceptional—one of those rare experiences that stays with you long after you leave. I visited with my mom, and from the very first moment, everything felt special. The atmosphere of the hotel is incredibly calm, peaceful, and beautifully designed—it’s honestly one of the most serene places I’ve ever stayed in. As someone who travels often and experiences many hotels, I can confidently say this one stands out as something truly unique. What made the stay even more memorable was that it happened during my birthday. Without me mentioning anything beforehand, the team surprised me with a beautiful cake delivered to my room. It was such a thoughtful and genuine gesture that meant so much to me—it really reflects the level of care and attention they give to their guests. The breakfast experience was beyond amazing. Every morning felt special thanks to Mohammed, who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He even remembered our drinks and preferences throughout our four-day stay, which made everything feel so personal and warm. The entire restaurant team created such a welcoming atmosphere—we genuinely looked forward to starting our days there. In the evenings, we would often go for drinks and refreshments, and Mohamed Shoura made those moments just as enjoyable. He brought such a positive energy and made sure we felt comfortable, relaxed, and taken care of every time. The reception team—including Adham, Nirvana, and Heba, along with everyone else whose names I may have missed—were all incredibly professional, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attitude and hospitality truly made a difference in our stay. I also have to highlight the housekeeping team—the level of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail in the room was outstanding. Everything was spotless and maintained to perfection throughout our stay.

“Cute peaceful attentive service”
Such a beautiful hotel and comfy room, day time team ladies are all so kind and professional, helped us plan our day and the boat times. Breakfast was a good selection and variaty, and for us a plus point a majestic feline accompanied us during breakfast <3. There's an observation deck right outside our room high enough to oversee Philae Temple, even during the week of huge desert wind, the view is still stunning. The hotel can also arrange for boat ride directly to the temple without making a detour to the shore. The boat driver are all very nice and showed remarkable skills during the heavy wind. Overall we're very happy with our stay and will for sure come back. 超漂亮舒适的酒店，很地中海风情，双人床房间床很宽大，酒店25刀可以直接接送去菲莱神庙（门票自购），上岛免费的船提前在Whatsapp上提前半小时预约即可，不过取决于天气，我们去的时候可能因为大风等了一会儿船，总体不要安排得太紧张即可。早饭内容挺多，还有只漂亮咪咪来讨食，很有礼貌不打扰人。

“Exceptional escape”
We had an exceptional time in this beautiful hotel away from the hustling and bustling of Aswan. The hotel staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The boat transfer to the island is available 24/7, so getting to the hotel and doing an Abu Simbel excursion with early morning departure is not at all a problem. We had a beautiful room overlooking the water towards Philae temple. Highly recommend staying here!

A Serene and Magical Escape in Aswan Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Benben by Dhara was nothing short of exceptional. If you are looking for tranquility, relaxation, and a stunning location, this is the perfect place. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, making it an ideal spot to unwind. A special and heartfelt thank you to Nardin and Sara for their outstanding hospitality. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were pleasantly surprised by the room upgrade and the lovely complimentary birthday cake for my wife—a very thoughtful gesture that made our celebration extra special. The Highlights: * The Staff: Everyone we encountered was professional, friendly, and truly excellent. * Breakfast: The breakfast was wonderful and highly enjoyable. * The Vibe: The entire stay was quiet, beautiful, and very relaxing. A Small Note for Improvement: The only minor issue we had was regarding the food portions and the pricing, which felt a bit high. However, I must appreciate the management for their quick responsiveness and understanding when we raised this point. I only mention this so the hotel can pay a bit more attention to the value-to-quantity ratio in the future. Overall, it was a beautiful experience, and we would definitely return!

The situation on the island is stunning. The property is well conceptualised and planned. Looks a bit like a remake of Santorini. Rooms are clean and well put together. Wellness part was nicely planned, with good massages on offer, professional and enjoyable.

The most beautiful experience was in your spa with Zeinab. She is perfect - very good professional in massage, very caring, helpful and friendly person. Also, all your receptionists are incredible helpful. Also, we all (4 people in our group) appreciate your personal approach to us and our situation.
