Everything. The room with the Nile view is amazing. I wish I could stay at Bayt Zaina for more days. The breakfast is wonderful and you will eat it sitting at the terrace on the top of the house. The staff was polite and respectful, but also warm, enjoying chatting with us. This is one of the best places in which I have stayed in Egypt!

“A cozy place on beautiful Nile”

A very nice and cozy hotel on the bank of Nile on Elephantine Island, which ensured a very pleasant stay for four nights for a solo traveller. Hotel staff was very helpful, warm and friendly. The environment was quiet and relaxing.

We put 5 only for the nice terrace,the ride with the boat and the nice man that welcomed us.The bathroom was awful and the room full of insects.I wouldn't have so many expectations for such a small price but the comments that i saw were not true.

Had an amazing stay at this hostel. Staff was very helpfull and they have a felouka so we could hire a 3 hours tour for a very reasonable price. It was great! Breakfast was also good and the view over the nile from the rooftop was beautiful.

“Was very pleacent and nice”

Everybody was super friendly, the staff were really helpful and ready to help me with any request. The best thing about this place is the terrace, really nice vibe, chill and amazing view of the river.

“Great hotel with a friendly staff!!”

The place was beautiful!! The hotel is located in an island called Elephantine Island which is easy to access. The rooftop surprised me greatly as it was full of colourful and with a nice ambiance. The breakfast was very tasty and varied, I must say, one of the best so far. They also offer food from a menu that is affordable. The staff was very friendly and nice. I really liked this place and I highly recommend it.

“Beautiful hotel and nice staff!!”

The hotel is located in a beautiful and calm island in the middle of the river. The room was very clean and the place very well taken care of. Also the family who run the business are very helpful and nice! They also sell affordable and delicious food. Definitely recommend!!

The host treated us like family from the word go. It was a very special experience. The location, with its views over the river, was unparalleled. Trip with the bird man was excellent. Nearby restaurant was good. Gasser organised everything really well.

“The Staff & Breakfast Are Incredible”

This. Was. Amazing. Just so much more and better than we could ever expect. I went here with my fiancé in November and it was super! Let's start with the simple, but clean and tidy rooms. Airconditioning, en suite bathroom, the cleanliness, even the sheets smelled really nice. Then the breakfast. I spent alot of mornings in Egypt and had alot of different breakfasts, but without a doubt, this was one of the best I've had. Everything was homemade and filled with love, just comforting and an amazing start of our days. And the most incredible and remarkble aspect of our stay here was the staff. Moussa, Mohamed, the manager, the ladies of the kitchen, the young captains; every single one of them were going above and beyond for us, in a super relaxed, friendly and heartwarming way. This stay and especially the staff deserve more than a 10 in my opinion. We will definitely be back here and we'll make sure we stay at least a week. Thanks to everyone, we will never forget you & see you soon!

“A little piece of paradise”

Elephantine island is so special! There are many little guest houses, this one stands out for its amazing Nile views on the more picturesque side of the island. Nice breakfast (not included price)The fried tilapia we had first night was very good. Staff without exception are super friendly and helpful.

“Amazing, would stay again!!”

Mr Muhammad are the staff are excellent. They are very helpful and lovely people. We love the location by the nile, the view is just amazing, overlooking the cataracts, Kitchener islands, Aga Khan mausoleum, and the Nobles Tomb! We cannot ask for a better view to soothe our soul. The felucca ride at sunset was just dreamy, quiet and so beautiful. The abundance of bird watching available around are excellent, both at morning and evening, and sounds of chirping can be heard throughout the day. This place made Aswan special for us and we’d love to go back again for this amazing nile experience. 

The room is basic but comfortable. We had the one overlooking the front with the nile river view, so that was great! Breakfast was good with an amazing view from the terrace. We love the complimentary pick up on arrival from the ferry jetty, that takes us directly to in front of the house, instead of having to walk through the island with our luggage.

The hotel is on the Éléphant Island, with a wonderful view on the Nile. Everyone there is so nice ! Best expérience I’ve had !

“What a location.”

The room was lovely and the view from the balcony over the Nile spectacular. Everything was very relaxed and the owner sent a boat to pick us up from the ferry dock. Breakfast was great and the staff friendly and helpful.
