“Superb choice for your stay in Asti!”

Everything was superb! The host, Guido, is very kind and welcoming. The location was perfect for walking to the town and the station. The entire property is beautifully decorated, and the room was absolutely delightful. The best place that I have stayed for a long time. Thank you so much, Guido!

Location and secure

La Fabbrica dell'Oro how its possible to provide a fantastic experience while at the same time charging a very reasonable price. If its value for money you want then it would be very difficult to find better. There were many things that exceeded expectations, including the outside seating area/terrace, microwave, refrigerator. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and has lots of character (take time to enjoy looking at all the old photographs on the walls of the staircase). Another thing that has to be complimented is how easy the check-in process was.

The best bed I've had during my travels. It's been a long time since I last slept so well. Loved it. Nice room, very central. Lovely host.

The host, despite the fact that he was sick, he came to liberate me from the yard close by, where I entered confused by the signs and the door suddenly closed.

The host was very helpful and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. Off street parking available for 8€.

“Convenient Central Location - Would Stay Again”

Good central location only 15 minutes walk from centre of town,. Mini market and coffee shop nearby (unfortunately closed early). Nice large room and ensuite on second floor. We left something in the room and even though we had left the staff were super helpful about resolving the issue.

This place deserves more than 5 stars! It's a hidden gem – romantic, charming, and full of vintage character. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The staff were truly amazing: kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. A top experience – we felt really cared for. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway!

The room was nice and located right in the city center. However, the room shown on Booking was completely different from the one I received. When I asked the hotel staff about it, they said the photo doesn’t matter and that I should have sent a special request. I find this unacceptable — the photo shown during booking should match the room provided. It was very noisy — the window faced the street, and there was a glass container outside, with people throwing bottles in all the time. There was on-site parking available for €8 per day. Pets are allowed. but for one night - you can ignore the noise, if you are very tired😃 I can recommend the hotel, but only if you ask for a quiet room in advance.

Bed was comfortable. Shower was OK. These are my two basic requirements. Asti city seems to be split into two areas. Old and dilapidated with lots of churches but few facilities. And a busy centre. Rooms are at edge of first area and a 10 minute stroll to second. Guests need direction.
