“Lovely visit in a typical Italian B&B.”
The Cascina is in a lovely setting just outside the town of Asti. It's a picturesque family home run by Giuliana and her husband. We were given a lovely welcome and shown to our rooms which were of a good size with charmingly eclectic linen. Giuliana provided a very nice breakfast of local produce (they keep chickens so there were eggs on offer) and normal continental breakfast options. Coffee/tea options were basic.

Very kind host despite language barrier. Accommodation was a step back in time with period furniture and decor. Our room was immaculately clean and serviced daily. Adequate breakfast. Location quiet rural setting about 15 mins from Asti. Good value. Happily recommend to fellow travellers

Owner was extremely friendly although no English spoken. Good location for one nights stay for early start the next day.

Everything was great. The host didn't talked english, but it wasn't a problem at all. Place is old, but it is its charm.
