Melanie the host was wonderful, kind & helpful, the gite suited us as a couple & our pet dog, was secured, the gite is cosy & everything you needed for our stay, our dog was safe in the courtyard, the greeting present was a lovely touch to our stay

“Beautiful little house in the stunning French country side”
Beautiful little house in the stunning French country side. We only stayed one night as stop over whilst we were driving back form Spain to the Netherlands. The little house had everything we needed for our short stay and we were very comfortable there, including our small/medium sized dog. The village was stunning, we only saw a little as we were pretty much in and out but we did stop by the bakery which was out of this world!!

Quite a unique estate located in an ancient barn, with a newly renovated interior. Well equipped (though fridge without a freezer, and no washing mashing). Very friendly host. Half-meter-thick stone walls - the place was really cool on a 30-degree hot day. Very friendly hosts. We liked our short (overnight) stay.

We were traveling in business matters and this place suited as the best. It is not far from the highway, its clean cossy and It has got this special style that we all liked. Owners great us with smile and goodies even thou we were coming late in the evening. Veary nice place higly recomend.

“authentic rural experience in Cognac region”
host Veronica is very supportive (gave us extras) and ready to help in English (!!!) even if you are late (yes, we were trapped in traffic jams). location is 20 min drive to Angouleme and 30 min to Cognac. The place is very authentic and excellent value for the money. PET FRIENDLY!!!
