Overview
Gold Beach Hotel & RESIDENCE is situated just 200 metres from the beach in Asnelles-sur-Mer and is within walking distance to other D-Day Landing Beaches. It offers free Wi-Fi access and fully furnished rooms some of which overlook the sea. All the rooms are fully equipped with ensuite facilities. They feature a TV, minibar, safety deposit box and double glazing. Some have a view of the garden or beaches. A breakfast serving pastries and baguettes is available each morning and take away meals are possible upon request. Gastronomic restaurants can be found in the town centre. With free private parking, Gold Beach Hotel & RESIDENCE is close to the Asnelles beaches where a wide range of watersports is on offer. Bayeux is a 20-minute drive away and Caen is a 30-minute drive from the property. Le Mont Saint Michel is also within easy reach and Carpiquet Airport is 25 km from the property.

“Very disappointing; it was much better under the Gold Beach name”
The room was large, but had very few facilities. The bed was very comfortable, and the new shower was brilliant. The room was very spacious, and easy to get in and out with the key card.

Great location for exploring the D-Day sites, virtually on Gold beach and an easy drive to everywhere else. Staff were friendly and helpful, a particular shout out to Nathan and Eugenie who worked the bar in the evenings, it was a pleasure chatting with them. Rooms are big, bigger than we expected. Ours had a mezzanine level with 2 single beds as well as our huge double bed downstairs. Bear this in mind if you’re booking as a family and think you need two rooms, you might get away with just the one! There are three restaurants within a 2-3 minute walk.

Ample free parking on-site. Convenient location close to WW2 landing beaches. Staff accommodated us while the majority of rooms were taken over by a large group of teenage school children.
