The hosts, Essie, AJ and Bailey (the goodest boy) were very welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable about Kgaladi Transfrontier Park. The rooms were clean and neat. Essie was very helpful in the sense of making sure that our stay was comfortable.

The stay was really unprecedented. The housewife had prepared wood so that I could make a fire in the evening where I could prepare my meat 🤗in the house there were also all the things to make tea or coffee and all the cooking utensils were also present 😋the house is very sworn fully furnished 😍

Thanks a lot Essie, we had a very nice stay in Ashkam. This is the right place to stay in Ashkam ! Very nice place with all you need to cook and very confortable. Everything is safe around. And in less than a hour you reach the entrance of Kgalagadi National Park !

Duikers is a beautifully appointed self catering farm/country style guesthouse. Askham is a fabulous stop over en route to the Kgalagadi and Duikers was very welcoming and comfortable. Essie made us feel super welcome.

The room was cool after a hot day on the road, the shower is amazing. The wifi is fast (after a couple of days without wifi it was a treat). The coffee station was a treat! Never expected a proper cup of coffee in the middle of our road trip. There is a file in the room on Essie's grandparents and their exceptional role during the establishment of Kgalagadi. It was such an interesting read. After a few minutes of conversation with Essie it felt like a home away from home. The warm welcome and extra attention to detail is really priceless.

Great place to stay in a very small town. Exceptional hosts that made us feel very comfortable and showed us great hospitality. They told us a lot about the locals and how each person plays their part in the community and how it is to live in such a small and remote town. Attention to detail and focusing on the small things...they provided a bag of ice, a necessity for a nice cool refreshment during the extreme climate days to which the Kalahari is known for. Small bottles of fresh cold milk with homemade rusks for that feel at home experience. Plenty of firewood to enjoy a true Kalahari campfire and even insect repellent to put the Kalahari mosquitoes at ease. Freshly washed towels and bedding for a very comfortable stay.

The rooms was very clean and the decor was authentic to the area. The owners was very friendly and and able to share a lot of knowledge about the area.

Lovely and charming, everything you need. The Nespresso and delicious rusks, the fire wood and ice was such a bonus. Hosts AJ and Essie were fantastic and always ready to assist.

We were searching for a stay close to Kgalagadi National Park and when we found Duiker's Accomodations, even if there were not many reviews, we decided to give it a shot. Well, it was absolutely a match! The room was clean and curated in every little detail! The hosts were also caring and friendly,giving us many good tips for our journey. Considering the price too, i can only recommend! :)
