“Fantastic Place and Location”

We had a fabulous stay here. 2 adults 2 kids. Everything was easy to use and self explanatory. Bridget greeted us , showed us around and had left some yummy treats for our arrival which was great when we got settled to have a cuppa. Ample space and storage for all your things. Well equipped kitchen everything you need and more. The area was lovely and quiet and peaceful just what you need to unwind. We had organised our stay because it was a short distance to Emerald Park and we managed a few day trips out and we enjoyed coming back to relax after a day out. We would definitely rebook in the future if we were heading back in that direction!

Fantastic place to stay! We loved staying in this quiet neighborhood. Quick drive to Brú na Boinne and other historic locations and only 30 minutes from Dublin.

This is an exceptional property, Bridget has thought of every detail imaginable to make your stay so comfortable.. we've stayed in a lot of places over the years,and we have to say this one is absolutely the best that we're stayed in.. we most definitely will be back.. only a 11 minute drive from emerald park too.

Lovely apartment, one of the best I have stayed in and I’ve stayed in quite a few. Facilities are great, there is nothing not to like. Set in a quiet rural location yet only about a few miles from Ashbourne. Would definitely stay again.

It was clean, comfortable and private with a lovely garden to sit out in. Generous array of food as a welcome pack, including delicious homemade soda bread, scones, jam and marmalade. Bridget also kindly left us a loaf midweek when we told her how much we enjoyed it. Hosts were attentive but not intrusive. The apartment was the perfect base for our needs and we would not hesitate to recommend it and intend to book again when we next return to Ireland.

Beautiful! Bridget was an amazing host, so helpful and friendly. She was extremely helpful with some questions we had even before we arrived and had some homemade bread and sweets for us when we got there. The rooms were of a good size and were very clean and comfortable. Lovely quiet country location with a fully stocked kitchen. Grocery store and other shops were fairly close by.

The accommodation is perfect. A lot of space and two comfortable beds. The shower works well and the dishwasher + washing machine is an ideal combination for a longer stay. The host even helped me with de-icing the windows of my car. (thanks again!) I am returning for sure!

Bridget our host was waiting for us when we arrived. She provided freshly baked bread and scones, along with butter, milk, and free range eggs, all of which were gladly received. It's a quiet, rural location, but only minutes from Ashbourne and the motorway into Dublin. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was nice and clean. We had a really nice time there and a warm welcome from a lovely lady whos name is Bridget. She even made us some nice freshly baked bread for the morning when we arrived.

Beautiful house, clean and comfortable. So close to Tatyo Park and also not far away from Jump Zone in Liffy Valley shopping centre .The closed in back garden was such a bonus for the children and so safe for my toddler to explore herself. Such a nice touch to provide a fruit bowl,eggs and lovely scones & bread, Bridget & Tom are lovely people and there if you need anything at all and if you don't you wouldn't even know they lived next door . Swallows Rest will 100% be my go to accommodation for any future stays in this part of the country.

“A home away from home!”

Bridget was so friendly and helpful during our stay! She met us with keys and showed us around. We had everything we needed. She even let our young kids feed her pet rabbit! The facilities were excellent. Clean, modern and comfortable. Close to tayto park, the ark puddenhill, and nit too far from funtasia.

We stayed for 5 night with our 4 year old as we were going to tayto park and decided to stay for a few days. Bridget was so nice, nothing was a problem, she left our daughter see their little bunny and gave us plenty of advice on what to do in the area.
