We spent 3 nights at Upperud 9:9 as a family and had a fantastic experience. The location is exceptional - right by the lake, calm and atmospheric. The accommodation is comfortable and full of character. Breakfast was good, and the dinner was truly excellent. The staff were attentive and kindly accommodated our special requests, which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay

“Beautiful lakefront hotel with charming Scandinavian design.”
I thought this hotel was very charming. It is a renovated grain mill, and the interior design is classic, cheerful Scandinavian. The location, right on a lake, is gorgeous. The beds were comfortable. We rented a canoe and spend an afternoon paddling around. The breakfast is the morning is very fresh and delicious.
