Everything nice and clean and so much green around, birds singing when you open the window. you can get bikes for free but we did not ask for. first morning we woke at 6.30 because room was filled with so much light because the drapes were white but then we discovered external wodden shades the we use for the rest of the nights and was ok , kept the room dark . The receptionist waited for us another 10 minutes because we couldn't make at 19.00 hours.

For Switzerland, a fairly low price.

Nice premises with beautiful garden. Good size room with separate dining area. Own kitchen and bathroom. Excellent breakfast in breakfast room with park view. Very friendly and helpful young man in the reception. Will stay again if in the area.

The staff was very welcoming and the room was quiet and spacious. The common kitchen is very practical to have early breakfast. The free bikes are a nice additon as it is much faster to reach Locarno or Ascona city center by bike than bus.

Everything was great

Our stay was unfortunately quite disappointing. The room was dated and in need of refurbishment, and the soundproofing was almost non-existent — we could hear people talking in the hallway, walking past, doors closing, and even other guests using the bathroom, which made it very hard to sleep. To make things worse, there was no lighting in the building when we arrived, including in our room. We reported it to staff, but there was no sense of urgency in addressing the issue. Although the room was clean and the staff were polite, the overall experience fell far below expectations. Not recommended for light sleepers or anyone expecting basic comfort.

Location, food, clean, friendliness of staff.

Everything was perfect. The garden was absolutely gorgeous.

It is much more beautiful and bigger than advertised. Its located perfectly from the nearest bus stop and has so many convenience and grocery stores nearby. The staff is really polite and helpful.

It was great value for the money. The room is big and cozy. The fan was a real lifesaver as well. All in all i would definitely book it again.

Great central location and tranquil spot. We had the casa rustica to ourselves. Had a lovely breakfast in the garden. Bed was very comfortable and we borrowed the free bikes to get around town (caution: not flat!). It is more like an evangelical hostel than a hotel but all the modern comforts are still to be had.
