Set in the historic centre of Ascoli Piceno, this medieval convent offers a restaurant and wellness centre. All elegant rooms come with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Piazza del Popolo square is a 2-minute walk away. Rooms at Dei Mercanti have contemporary décor and tiled floors. Each includes an LCD TV and private bathroom with hairdryer. Very good receptionist when we arrived. Room on the small side but very comfortable. Breakfast excellent and loved the local jams/honey. We also ate in the restaurant which was good.

The hotel was delightful! The location was amazing. The valet parking service was superb. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa package was wonderful and great value for money! The room was great. Breakfast was good. I'd like to return!!!

We liked everything. A perfect stay and we will return. The staff were exceptional and treated us like royalty. Especially the reserved, efficient and quiet young woman at the front desk and Ilaria in the restaurant. (I think I spelled that correctly). Both woman were very helpful, cheerful and great at their jobs.

“Perfect me time”
From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the peaceful atmosphere and the professionalism of your staff. The location in the heart of the town was perfect, and it truly provided a serene escape from the bustle of the city. The spa treatments were absolutely fantastic, and I felt completely rejuvenated by the end of my visit. I particularly enjoyed the sauna , and I appreciated how attentive and skilled the staff were.
