“Absolutely Terrible Experience – Dishonest and Unprofessional”

My stay at this hotel was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. Upon check-in, I was greeted by a blonde woman at reception who did not speak any English, which made communication nearly impossible. She handed me the room key without asking for payment, which led me to believe — as is standard with most hotels booked via Booking.com — that the payment would be processed automatically through the platform. To my shock, after checking out the next day, I received a message from the hotel via Booking.com accusing me of theft for supposedly leaving without paying. Instead of attempting to resolve the matter politely, they took an aggressive and highly unprofessional tone. It gets worse: they charged me TWICE for the stay and continued to claim I hadn’t paid at all. When I tried to call them to clarify the issue, they hung up on me, showing a complete lack of customer service, courtesy, or basic professionalism. Booking.com later confirmed that the hotel had, in fact, processed two payments, effectively stealing from me. The way the staff handled the situation was appalling — rude, unhelpful, and utterly uneducated about basic hospitality practices. I was treated with zero respect, and the accusations and double charge were completely unjustified. This level of behavior is unacceptable for any establishment claiming to operate in the hospitality industry. Avoid this place at all costs — not only are they disorganized and incapable of communicating with international guests, but they are also dishonest and aggressive when it comes to billing. What was supposed to be a simple overnight stay turned into an outrageous and stressful ordeal.

Located right next to the Camino, the room is spacious, the shower is the best we had during our Camino. We had breakfast there, sandwiches were very yummy.
