Lovely host who went out of his way to see that I understood as he speaks only spanish. The pension is at the entrance of town on the trail, but 15 -20 mnts walk from the center. The room is clean and comfortable. There is a supermarket nearby, and a panaderia about 10 minutes away for starting the day.

Four of us stayed at this property on the Camino Francés route. The owner was very kind and helpful. The property was very clean and right on the route, very close to shops and restaurants. We were very, very pleased and would like to thank you again for everything.

“Nice hotel right beside the Camino”

A nice little hotel a little bit outside of Arzua, but right on the side of the Camino. The walk to city center was only 10 minutes or so. The host (Luis) was fantastic. He explained everything in detail despite the language barrier.

Location is close to supermarket and rearaurant and there is a place that we can wash our cloth. Luis very kind and helpful, he told everything we need.

It was very clean, location was excellent and the staff were really helpful. The lady who checked us I. Was really helpful and informative. The owner of the hotel, Louis, was so lovely and welcoming and although he spoke no English he was good at making g is understand d him. Thank you to our Galician Grandpa.

The owner had little English and did not seem friendly at first but he proved us wrong - he immediately fixed some little problems, and then offered to drive us to town for dinner without us even asking. After a long days' walk, saving 2km was really appreciated! The room was large and comfortable and clean.

The owner and staff couldn't do enough for me. The owner even drove me to a restaurant in town he recommended, and he wasn't wrong. The room was immaculate, the bathroom was sparkling, the shower was fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I would definitely go back.

The Hotel La Puerto de Arzùa was spotless. The owner Luis was very attentive to any of our questions. He was very helpful and kind. The Hotel is ranked a 9.2. We would give it higher. We highly recommend this hotel to any pilgrim on the Camino.
