Lovely and peaceful

I stayed at Apartamentos Carballos Altos for one night and it genuinely exceeded my expectations. The apartment feels brand new, beautifully decorated, and absolutely spotless. You can immediately tell how much care and love the owners put into every detail — they were also incredibly accommodating with my check‑in time and truly lovely to interact with. The little garden is a peaceful corner to unwind, and the swimming pool adds an extra touch that makes the place feel like a small oasis. It’s the kind of stay where you instantly feel comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return the next time I travel to the area.

“Amazing Stay”

Stayed here while walking the Camino and honestly it was amazing. The apartment was very clean, spacious, modern, and after a long day walking it felt like a real treat to come back to. The area is quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax and get a good sleep. The swimming pool was a huge bonus after walking all day and definitely helped recovery. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Arzúa, but in my opinion it’s absolutely worth it for the peace, space and value for money. I’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it, especially for Camino walkers looking for somewhere comfortable to recharge.

“A Piece of Heaven”

What a fabulous place to rest and relax after a long leg of the Camino into Arzua. the apartments and swimming pool are out of this world. Check in was simple on line and Juan and his wife were so accommodating. We forgot a phone and gad to get back in after locking up. Juan and his wife made sure we had no problem getting back in. Small walk (700m) back to Arzua to great restaurants and bars and back to Camino route but absolutely worth it.

The apartment has clearly been recently renovated to a high standard. One of the best stays during our camino walk. Was very easy to get luggage sorted.

This was a beautiful property, we would have loved to stay longer but the Camino was calling! The shower was amazing. The host very pleasant and helpful.
