“fantastic place with a very cosy neighbourhood”
This place was very easy to find, perfect for those who loves nature and authentic «hyttas». A big plus was the big gas grill outside.

Wonderful. We have travelled to Sweden from abroad, and this felt like a truely authentic Swedish countryside experience. Beautiful location, and kids had fantastic fun in the lake. Cottage nicely decorated, comfortable and is well equipped - inc life jackets and free use of a canoe

“Outside Arvika”
This nice cottage looks quite a small one but it is spacious inside. You had everything you needed. Wifi worked well. Good fridge freezer combination. Good bed. We found chanterelles on a nearby outdoor trail. A parking place near.

It was a very nice place. Nice walking routes and a very restfull place. It was very nice to be at the lake. The owners where very informative and helpfull. We had a wonderfull time with our dog!

“Restorative peace and tranquillity in nature and outstanding value for money. Fab hosts.”
Perfect retreat after exploring Sweden for two interrailers heading to Norway. The peace and tranquillity was idyllic. As was the proximity to the lake and forest walks. Cabin was toasty and cosy and the outdoor eating area was a bonus. Wished we could have spent longer there.

“Nice cottage”
We enjoyed our stay at the Fr oya timber cottage very much. We found everything necessary in the house. The area is beautiful and perfect to relax. A plus was certainly the lake and the location in nature. We felt very welcome. The neighbors were super friendly. Arvika is the ideal base for numerous excursions.
