Located 500 metres from the tranquil Ardra Lake, The Arches Farmhouse B&B is a luxurious, County Cavan hideaway. The property boasts scenic gardens, magnificent panoramas, and has crazy golf and a tennis court on site. The Arches Farmhouse B&B offers en suite rooms throughout, with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Each room comes complete with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The on site restaurant offers delicious home cooking, and guests may collect the free range eggs for their breakfast during a morning stroll. Activities such as farm strolls, bog walks, lakeside picnics and boat trips can be enjoyed in the surrounding area. This farm stay is 130 km from Dublin Airport, whilst Arva town is 5km away. The Arches is a working beef farm. In the winter/spring months guests may watch cows calving, whilst in the summertime the cattle and calves will be seen in the fields.

“Great accommodation in a beautiful location.”
Lovely premises in a quiet location with beautiful country views. Pearl, the proprietor, made us very welcome. The plentiful breakfast included home-made bread and scones along with hot and cold options, all provided at our requested time. The room was great with a very comfortable firm bed and walk-in shower. Everything you need for a short stay.

The lady was very welcoming. The location was beautiful, lovely views from the house. The room was spotless. A great selection of food for breakfast. Her home baking and Irish breakfast was delicious.

“Highly recommended for the discerning traveller”
Breakfast was served in the spacious dining room. We were offered a wide range of cereals, juices, fresh fruits and yoghurts. We had a choice of hot breakfasts of very high quality which were served freshly hot with homemade breads, scones and jams.

Pearl was an exceptional host and made us feel very much at home. Her home is beautiful so couldn’t fault a thing. The breakfast was delicious especially the homemade bread and scones. Idilic peaceful country setting. Pearl’s garden is magnificent and so colourful.

“Lovely host and stunning location!”
The location is breathtaking! Surrounded by farms, has a stunning front and back yard with a lawn tennis and crazy golf field. Pearl is such a lovely hostess! We were served authentic Irish breakfast which was so delicious. Highly recommend this BnB for a quiet weekend!

“Wonderful stay”
Stayed at the Arches Farmhouse B&B for 2 nights with a friend in Aug 2021. We had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, quite and comfortable. Slept really well. The host, Pearl is very welcoming and gave us a lot of recommendations of places to visit. She couldn't do enough for us. There is a lot of choice for breakfast. The eggs come from her very own happy hens, I even took a few eggs home with me! One evening we had a great time playing in their crazy golf. The B&B is in a great spot with wonderful views all around and well situated within short distance to many amenities. Thank you Pearl for a lovely stay. Soledad and Clare
