Great little place away from the main parts, like your very own garden Oasis. Staff went above and beyond picking and dropping off at the airport (with late notice, oops) and also helping me with scooter hire and what activities to do.

No breakfast was provided. We liked the surroundings of being in lovely gardens. It was a quiet and peaceful location All of out little requests were met by lovely staff.

Not clean tbh. Smelt like dust n mothball, Lots of spider webs on the roof and in the bathroom along with daddy long legs spiders around the bathroom especially. Lots of insects dead and alive on the floor inside property

I loved that it was nestled in its own private space. There are 4 lodges in the vicinity and all have their own balcony’s that you can enjoy individually. Our water pressure was great. Also the unit was nice and clean.

The house was lovely really spacious and in beautiful grounds. Mama Tute was such a good host and met me at the airport with a flower necklace.

Simple and easy - spacious in a great garden setting. Walkable distance from the lovely Avatea cafe which serves lunch and dinner. We hired a scooter and it was easy and quick and safe to get around the island in no time. The collection by the owner from the airport was very efficient and she was lovely to talk to too. And the groundskeeper was very sweet! Would love to come back soon.

I spacious room, and recommend for a group travel of Four or Five especially for families who want to save a bit of money on Accommodation's.

Edward the manager is really helpful and a nice guy. The lodges are quite old but good value for money.

Location was secluded and tranquil. Very modest and humble accommodation for our low budget. Māmā Memory was very accommodating to us and came out all hours of the night to sort us out and give us some tips for our holiday. Staff keep grounds very tidy and clean, rubbish was sorted and recycled (very eco friendly!) I love the plans for updating the grounds and look forward to watching these dreams come to fruition. I’ve stayed at Gina’s quite a few times, mainly because of the cheap price. It’s exactly what a bunch of fishermen need. We don’t need fancy stuff — just a place to sleep and somewhere to have a cold drink on the porch in the evening. The lodges have plenty of space, a good veranda, and a nice garden around the property. The staff are always friendly and easy to deal with.

We really enjoyed the garden and the availability of tropical fruits for our usage; we also liked the central location and the proximity to the best restaurant of the island: Avatea Cafe. We appreciated that the grandson collected us at the airport and shown us a few points of interest while driving to the accommodation.
