The most beautiful resort and view from our room was just amazing! Facilities were perfect everything we needed and more. Love how we had our own bikes and that extra attention to detail in our room and getting our room serviced twice a day was amazing especially with all the outdoors things we did using towels. Now all the Staff went above and beyond with amazing service friendly and just great people. That is definitely a big thumbs up for why we will be coming back to Private Island again is the wonderful staff….Outstanding service!

“One of the nicest islands”

We`ve been to Tahiti, Hawaii, Fiji, and other Pacific islands. By our experience, Aitutaki ranked #2 after Bora Bora. Accommodation in a beach bungalow was very nice, overlooking the lagoon with a nice secluded terrace, private bikes, and a canoe. Good (not amazing) breakfast, and a nice restaurant for dinner with a great sunset view of the lagoon. We stayed 2 nights here, we didn`t take the recommended cruise boat to visit neighboring islands, too little time, instead we took our bikes and did a 4-hour ride to explore the island. Also, we did a hike to the highest mountain here with a tremendous view, collected mangoes on the way, nice restaurant close to the hotel, etc

Luxury place to stay. Lovely staff. Worthwhile even if it's the to end of your budget 😉

We stayed in an Overwater Bungalow (OB) for 3 nights and it was amazing! If you are coming here, try an OB for at least 1 night just for the experience, it’s entirely worth the extra cost. The resort itself was beautifully presented, the staff were fantastic, and the food at the in-house restaurant was excellent - we had seafood, steaks, curries, burgers and all the deserts, everything was perfect. The breakfast buffet was great too! Obviously the best part of the resort is its position which provided some breathtaking views of the lagoon and Aitutaki mainland. The kayaking, swimming, snorkeling and paddle boarding was great!
