“Great Bed&Breakfast”

Great Bed&Breakfast! I can highly recommend to stay here. Very good breakfast with pancakes, eggs, toast, coffee and tea, fresh fruits and joghurt. Comfortable rooms and shower. Very friendly and caring hosts. Lovely garden.

“Feels like Home”

We stayed for a second time in Utamaduni House after our Safari. It felt like coming home. Everything was prepared for us. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, good beds with mosquito-nets, good shower and bathroom. The house has a nice area inside and outside to sit and also a beautiful garden with tropic flowers and trees. There is also a nice bar, where you can have drinks. The Utamaduni Team was very friendly and really took care for us. We could have breakfast at the time we wished. Early in the morning, when we had to leave for a day-trip or later the day, when we wanted to sleep longer. It was all no problem and very flexible. We also could leave some of our luggage in the Utamaduni House, when we went on our 5-days Safari Tour. We had a wonderful evening meal together with the hosts with great Tansanian food. They also gave us a lot of tipps for activities and locations in Arusha and the region. @Utamaduni House: Thank you very much for all your efforts, the great dinner, your tipps, your kindness and flexibility. It was a pleasure staying in your Bed&Breakfast and we will always remember this time with a big smile. I highly recommend this accomondation. If I will come back to Arusha once, I would stay in Utamaduni House again.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Beautiful decoration and design both inside and outside. Best breakfast so far in Tanzania. Original plan was to stay one night, but we ended up staying 3 nights.

Looks just like the pictures. Very cute and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We had a lovely breakfast and all cooked in a power outage :)

The hosts went out of their way to help us with any issue we had. The room was beautiful and comfortable. They have a nice garden where you can relax. Also, we had dinner there one night, and the food was incredible! I would 1000% recommend Utamaduni house B&B.

“An Oasis in Arusha”

Perfect location for us. away from the noise , the dust and busy streets. Utamaduni House is a little oasis. We stayed for 4 nights in total. two before going on a safari and 2 after. Simone is a great host and she makes you feel at home. Always ready to help with anything you need. The two girls that work here are lovey and just amazing at their job. They are very sweet and they know how to cook. Dinner was amazing and breakfasts were the best we had in Tanzania. The place itself is spotless, modern and beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. We had a shared bathroom and it was perfect. If you are in Arusha, do yourself a favour and stay here. The house is not in the centre but if you treasure peace and quiet, this is the place.

Pros: The owner and person in charge is very nice and his name is Chris. Food was prepared very well and very delicious. Chris is such a great cook. Breakfast was large and tasted great. Chris was helpful in terms of arranging our taxi etc.

We ha a great stay at Utamaduni house. The house is lovely decorated and makes you feel at home. The bar in the garden is beautiful too. We had several times homemade dinner, what was ever time very delicious. The location is a bit outside the city center but you always find a driver via InDrive. For us this place was the perfect place for our pre- and post-safari. We could also leave some luggage there while on safari, what was super convenient. Thanks again for hosting us, Chris!

We slept a total of 3 nights at Utamanduni Hous and were very impressed with the accommodation. The accommodation has 4 very nicely furnished rooms, one common room and a big garden. Chris is a great host and the staff are incredibly helpful. Traditional cooking was done for us in the evening. The breakfast with fresh fruits as well as jam and pancakes is excellent. The property also has a beautifully landscaped garden with a seating area around a campfire pit and a small outdoor bar.

House sits on beautiful grounds, clean, good Wi-Fi. Great food! Chris is a great host and can organize for activities for you or a simple fun night out.
