Lovely green oasis, matured gardens,, a dream location to relax. I kept sleeping at 7pm till morning, totally relaxed. Facilities were good for me, no TV, A/C, no mod cons only added to the experience. Please try the soup, forgot name, a real belly buster, that was my staple. Maybe that's why I slept soo well. Place could do with an update in places, but again, I enjoyed the experience.

“Safe overnight stop after a long journey”
Beautiful garden and pool, despite the busy surroundings. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even waiting at the airport after our flight was delayed and making us dinner after 10 pm.

“Wonderful stay at Vijiji that could haven even been a few days longer”
I spent 4 nights at the Vijiji Centre Lodge & Safari in Arusha. On the day of departure I would have liked to spend more days in this wonderful place. The location outside the city center of Arusha is very good and allows one to really relax and make quick trips to local attractions and markets. The Lodge resemble a small garden of Eden with very beautiful planting that attracts bushbabies & birds. The place is too beautiful to just disappear from there to the national parks. I would definitely plan extra time to experience the local life and small ventures like a coffee tour, the local markets. Or just to enjoy the outstanding hospitality of the whole team, the fantastic food and the pool. Thank you very much for the hospitality. The team at Vijiji Centre really gave me a great stay. “Amazing thanks to the Staff!”
The staff where amazing!!!! The Lodge was nice and beautiful but a bit need for renovation. But this was made up by the best staff ever!

Beautiful location with jungle like surroundings. Really friendly and helpful staff who were in contact even before our stay to help us to organise our trip. I would definitely recommend if you are looking to be in the centre of everything - we did a safari and Mt Kilimanjaro which were both incredible. The local people are all very friendly and welcoming too - a lovely stay!
