“A nice place to stay prior a safari”
We liked walking the property. It is well maintained. We stayed there 2 times (before and after our safari) and some rooms are much nicer than others. The rooms have no AC, so it’s a little bit difficult to sleep at night. We like drinking our glasses of wine by the fire. Food is good and prices reasonable. The hotel is located a bit far from Arusha downtown and airport (40-45 minutes).

This place is a piece of heaven. The perfect spot to connect with nature, wildlife and relax. The entire staff is excellent, from the owner to the night life guard it was a honor to share these magical moments with their company. Hope to see you soon again.

Beautiful setting.and interesting history. Room tasteful amd spotlessly clean. Staff polite and attentive. WiFi connectivity good. The gift shop at the bottom of the carpark sells traditional hand made crafts.

A magical place! By far the best accomodation we had in Tansania on our trip. Unfortunately we were there only for one night. We came as the sun was already setting and the garden was beatiful with large trees and a fire burning. Monkeys playing in the trees. Highly recommended!

“The perfect stay before & after your Safari”
This is a beautiful quiet and peaceful sanctuary on several hectares in busy Arusha! Meru has a river running through the property, the original buildings, an outdoor eating area, pool, & more We stayed either side of our safari and it was the best decision to comr here to relax & wind down. Our room & on suite was lovely with comfortable seating right outside the door. Dining was great, the breakfast extensive and the service absolutely exceptional. We loved this place & will definitely return! 🙏😍
