Very good hotel +: Nice clean rooms with air-conditioning and a big bathroom. Staff is awesome and you get a nice little breakfast with coffee/tea and a fruit juice every morning. A one minute walk to the beach and loads of good restaurants around. -: All was perfect.

Nice and friendly place at Arugambay We stayed here for 10 nights and everything was ok. The owner is super friendly and flexible and the breakfast is super good. You can customise breakfast as you wish as well can use the kitchen if you love to cook yourself. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay! We stayed in the Surf and Sand hotel for our entire stay. Exactly what we needed, nice, simple, clean rooms with AC. We also appreciated the outside seating area. Mubarak took great care of us, he always organised anything we needed, cleaned our room or washed our towels and clothes whenever we asked for it. He’s a great cook, we enjoyed our breakfasts a lot (usually eggs or sri lankan pancakes with fruit salad and a delicious smoothie). He also cooked dinner for us a few times, which was always delicious. We’re definitely coming back!!

Room Quality: I stayed in a Deluxe Room — it was super clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The view was amazing, surrounded by natural forest which added a peaceful and relaxing vibe. Food and Dining: They offered a different style of breakfast every day, along with fresh juice. The taste was absolutely delicious and satisfying. Service and Cleanliness: Both the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, and the entire property was well-maintained. The staff were active 24/7, always friendly and helpful. Facilities: Free high-speed fiber Wi-Fi was available, and it worked perfectly. The hotel also offers good parking space and room service 4 out of 7 days a week. Value for Money: Definitely worth the price — clean rooms, great location, and exceptional service all for a reasonable rate. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Arugambay — for comfort, cleanliness, location, and hospitality.

“Amazing host and comfy stay”

We had an excellent stay here. The rooms are simple and comfy and the breakfasts here are sensational. Uncle will tailor them to your desires and give you a fresh fruit juice every single day. He even packed idlis for us for a special breakfast coz we were leaving for the airport super early. Great location, just across the road from the beach but not in the centre of town where it can get a bit loud. Great value for money and a sense of home, can’t wait to go back to A bay and stay there 💛

We had a very nice stay here. The man who runs this place is so lovely. Lovely and clean rooms, very spacious with good aircon. The location of this place is perfect, near the beach, bars and restaurants. We were served a different breakfast every morning and each one was really nice. Thank you for a nice stay :)

Super stay here .. amazing people running the Hotel .. breakfast was home cooked and great! .. location 5 mins from the beach and so much nicer being just on the edge of the main town .. Great value for money accommodation .. comes highly recommended!
