We had a great stay at the Taharaa Beach Bungalow, the location is exceptional. The house is directly on the black sand beach, with beautiful sunsets and sound of waves puting you asleep every night. It is not far from the shopping and dining places (2 min car drive). The beach is so beautiful and Bruno was generously lending a body board to our 7 year old son who spent hours in the ocean. Bruno also placed a pool in the yard for our 3 year old daughter, which we really appreciated. The house is modern and clean. We also liked the shower on the deck and used it a lot after coming from the beach to wash off the sand. We defenitely recommend this lovely location!

The owner himself is an amazing person and extremely helpful and friendly. He treated us as his best friends. The bungalow's decoration is all made by the owner. The near-by beach is amazing: suitable for surfing on the left side and with almost no waves on the left side, nice soft black sand, a coral reef right there with lots of tropical fish. There is a direct access to the beach from the property. There is no AC, but ceiling fans are in each room and that is enough. Perfect location: close to the Pearl Resort, the Hall museum, and a short drive from Papeete.
