“Exceptional”

Sandrine and her husband were exceptional hosts. Genuine warm welcome and with an eagerness to share knowledge of the area and they gave us great tips on how to maximize our time in the valley. We followed everything they advised and it was all wonderful. The house is set on a spacious parcel of land with views. The garden/yard is presented very nicely. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and decorated with love. Little soaps on our bed and welcome chocolates.Fresh towels each day! The breakfast table was presented par excellence along with the food. One guest had dietary requirements which Sandrine accommodated with ease. The chocolate home made will be a lasting memory. This accommodation, Sandrine and her husband provided us with a wonderful french experience that rates the best we experienced in our 10 week holiday in Europe. Highly recommend.

Nice stay in the town. The Breakfast was brilliant. We tried the local cheese and ham. The homemade youghert was amazing.

“An amazing stay”

Our hosts were amazing (Sabrine and Renee). The property and its location were stunning. The Pyrenees and this valley are beautiful and I think underestimated- there’s so much to explore and do. Sabrine was the most marvellous happy and friendly lady who couldn’t do more for us including her beautiful breakfast, advice on the area, reservations made for dinner and the presentation of the amazing accommodation. I would highly recommend this property to explore the French Pyrenees and the Ossau Valley.

“More than perfect”

The best place we've stayed in. Everything was more than perfect- the hosts, the rooms, breakfast, the area. 5 nights of feeling like home when we're abroad. Sandrine the host was like a mother for us ans helped us with every little thing we needed- and more! We already miss her cute dog.

A fabulous home where from the initial welcome you know you are somewhere trust special. Sandrine made our 2 night stay an unforgettable experience, giving us all the information we needed to ensure we gained maximum satisfaction from our stay. Her knowledge of the Ossau Valley was so very interesting to hear and the passion and love shown for the homemade jams and breads at breakfast ensured we enjoyed the most incredible spread on both mornings. A wonderful hostess who makes you feel so welcome and part of the home. Everything is thought of, attentive to every need and helpful to provide knowledge and advice in regards to the local area. We arrived at a beautiful location and feel we left a beautiful location having gained beautiful friends. Thank you to Sandrine for making our stay so very welcoming and enjoyable. “A beautiful suite in a very comfortable home. The hosts are very kind.”

We were welcomed by the owners and their beautiful dog, Licorice. The home and garden is lovely, everything was exceptionally clean. We had a suite upstairs that is very comfortable, everything is prepared for guests to feel comfortable. There is a spa and a swimming pool, a guest kitchen and laundry for convenience. Breakfast was exceptional with home made bread, brioche, yogurt. The local produce was also very good and tasty. We wish we had time to stay longer.

The hosts were extremely friendly and caring. They made us feel very welcome. The whole athmosphere and the surroundings were calming and relaxing. The location was excellent; little french village in the middle of beautiful nature. Breakfast was one of the best what we have ever eaten. Everything was fresh and eather local products or homemade. Even the yogurt was homemade and it was delicious! We were on a motorcycle trip with my daughter and it was very easy to park our two motorbikes in front of the building. There were very good parking space for any kind of vehicle. My daughter gave extra plus points due to swimming pool. It was very refreshing to be able to swim a little bit after a long day of driving. We can highly recommend this place to stay, if you are travelling in the area. We will definitely choose this place again, because we were so pleased with everything. This place is a true hidden gem!

Absolutely everything. We had a wonderful break in a beautiful house situated in amazing countryside close to the characterful village of Arudy. Sandrine and her husband were extremely welcoming with advice about the local area which they obviously loved. Our room was beautifully presented and so comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed. Everything was spotlessly clean and we loved the shower. Breakfast was an array of homemade food, with jams and yoghurt and honey and homebaked bread and gateau. It was a pleasure to play the beautiful grand piano. We look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for your hospitality.
