“Good basic accommodation with breakfast”
This was a basic room, clean, with firm beds and a good shower. We ate in the restaurant across the street and had a good meal. Breakfast was included and was plenty of food to get us started. The area is super quiet and we had a lovely walk in the morning.

“Friendly owners and comfortable stay in Artlenburg”
Arrived early in order to escape the afternoon extreme heat. Check-in immediately even though we were quite early. Relaxing pension with a/c and very nice owners. Excellent evening meal at the hotel restaurant. Very helpful owners who answered questions in their limited English and were open to using Google Translate when we really needed it. Advised us on local transport for a day out. Superb breakfast.

“Pleasant”
The bed was comfortable. There is some car parking outside the building otherwise parking is in the street. However, traffic is slow so it seemed safe to park there. Our room was in a building over the road from the main hotel, which is where we had to go for breakfast. A table had our room number on it, our breakfast was brought out when we arrived and hot drinks were made once we were there. The television had an English channel, so we could keep up with the news. There is a supermarket in town and a petrol station and supermarket about a five minute drive away.
