“Paradise”

Where to begin? From the very first moment, Valerie made us feel completely at home. The place is beautiful, spotless, and offers breathtaking views. We enjoyed the outdoor hot jacuzzi and then moved inside, where the lovely Valerie lit the fireplace for us. We relaxed in the cozy living room, choosing from her great selection of wines and local craft beers. Later, she served us a delicious soup, a wonderful homemade meal, and a tasty dessert. Thank you, Valerie ,we’ll definitely be back.

What I didn’t like was that the shower was dirty, to start. Later, at check out I had to pay almost 30€ more for Im not even sure what, maybe cleaning. I should have known up front about these undisclosed charges. I knew I had to pay a small amount for a city tax but not 30€ with no explanation that I could understand. I asked Valerie to send me a receipt two time and I never received one. Booking.con also was t very helpful explaining what the charges were for.

Location, cleanliness

“THE place to stay for stunning views-hiking, great food, great host-a real french mountain adventure”

Upon arrival to the chalet, we got a wonderful greeting and were given directions to start our hike on the trails just behind our parking before checking in. The hike was amazing! We checked in and prepared for dinner, which was a delicious and fresh assortment of vegs and salads, cold soups, cheese and bread all sourced locally and home made. The view was stunning and ever changing! And the sound of the cow/sheep bells were quite soothing. The part Ill never forget is waking up to seeing the fog come right in through our open window! Thats a first! We have never stayed in a pension like group gite before (although we got a room with a bathroom in the room) it was wonderful just the same. We think our host Valerie made all the difference, she was very kind, funny, informative, like staying with your auntie, like family! We will be back!!!

Everything was over-the-top superb.

The food (breakfast and dinner) was exceptional! Gîte Chalet du Soulor was very welcoming and warm with beautiful views of the mountains. We were very happy and comfortable in our room. Each room had its own personality. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Location, hot tub, breakfast and views.

Unbelievable location perched atop of Solour with spectacular views. Rooms were clean and well kept. The dining room and lounge area were comfortable and had the expansive view. Outside there was fussball and the panoramic hot tub. The food was top draw at the end of a hard day's cycle, lasagne was to die for. Good selection of beers and wines at reasonable prices.

“100% recommended, lovely place”

We had a great time at the gite! The surroundings are phenomenal, with stunning mountains all around the bed and breakfast. We also had dinner which was fantastic and absolutely worth it. The jacuzzi is amazing! Small and only downside, our room was quite small and very small windows so we didn't have the best view. The other rooms looked nicer though ;) Nevertheless, we slept very well. We would absolutely like to come again!
