“Its ok for family!”
Kuara Hotel in Arraial d’Ajuda is a large beachfront resort surrounded by lush nature, offering comfort, privacy, and strong infrastructure — particularly appealing for families. The property feels safe and secluded, about five minutes by taxi from the town center, which reinforces its more reserved atmosphere. Our suite was spacious and high quality, with an excellent bathroom (two showers and double sinks) and a very comfortable bed. Service throughout the stay was outstanding — especially Rodrigo and Henrique at breakfast, and Victor and Christian at lunch. The gym was a true highlight: modern, complete, and one of the best we’ve seen in a beach hotel. The pool area is beautiful, and the overall structure (tennis courts, sauna (Dampfbad), beach access) is impressive. However, the beach is not ideal for swimming due to rocks, and both breakfast and dinner were average for the hotel’s standard. Dining is mainly indoors with strong air conditioning, which may not suit guests who prefer outdoor settings. (We 🙋🏻♀️) Considering the pricing, it feels expensive for what is delivered. A great option for families with children, though I personally wouldn’t return as a couple without kids.
