The rooms were very big and the breakfast was delicious every morning. Everything was hot and tasty! A car rental is extremely recommended as Arlington is very unwalkable. We spent a lot of money on rude shares. The hotel was quiet and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I stayed here the night of Aug 15th and attempted to get a room at the counter with “Kevin.” The interaction was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. He pretended over and over that they had no rooms available and refused to look at me. When I pointed to the many rooms via booking.com on my phone, finally admitted they did and tried to charge me nearly $100 more than was listed. I booked the room online during his shift change, and the gentleman who took over was shocked by my story. He said he was looking at the rooms at the lower price and apologized profusely. He said he would tell the manager. Next morning, said manager laughed about the whole thing like it was no big deal and said there was nothing she could do so I should leave a review. It’s worth noting that I’m an Asian female. While race is not a narrative I like to use EVER, I have no other way of explaining this interaction. Kevin was white. His manager was white, and both the gentleman that finished my booking and the staff I interacted with who were clearly mortified by the whole thing, we’re not white. Wtf.
