“Very good stay - authentic - beautiful - comfortable - great breakfast”
Breakfast was great, the rooms were really modern - but within a beautiful 'old style' foundation. Quite and safe. My wife and i did a great run along the river, and we went to a local for dinner, only 7 minutes away. We enjoyed the stay.

Il Borgo is located in a beautiful property in a small village, about half way between Milan and Bellagio on Lake Como. The place is very quiet and lovely, the rooms well equipped, very comfortable - beautiful bathrooms! Breakfast is served in the local coffee place/bar/enoteca just outside the hotel, it's delicious with very nice and friendly staff. There are two places that serve light lunches and dinners in the village, Caffè del Adda and the Living Bar (both at a 5 minutes' walk from the hotel). Checking in is done on line and there's no reception desk at the hotel, which is a bit surprising- but the person in charge texted us with all the information we needed and responded within minutes every time we asked for something. Arlate is a 50-minute drive from Central Milan- Il Borgo is an excellent solution to rest and unwind after a busy day in the city.

Beautiful guest house tucked away in a quiet village. It was very quiet and relaxed. Some reviews have commented on the breakfast being located away from the guest house but it’s just a few steps and no further than you’d have to go in a large hotel. Yasmin was brilliantly helpful with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Breakfast staff were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended!
