The location and view from the balcony were fantastic! Captain Michalis is very kind and helpful and gave us great advice on what to see on the island. Even though laundry is not an expected service, it helped us for an extra wash. We had a very nice stay overall.

Our apartment was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate three people, with two terraces offering stunning sea views and the perfect spots for enjoying outdoor breakfasts and dinners. The kitchen, though compact, was well-equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, ensuring restful nights after days of exploration. What truly sets Montemar apart is the impeccable service. The owner is the epitome of a perfect host - always kind, extremely helpful, and going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The daily cleaning service was a wonderful touch, keeping our space immaculate throughout our visit. The location is ideal, with free parking and just a 15-minute drive from the airport. The beautiful Agios Nikolaos Beach is within walking distance, and numerous other fantastic beaches are just a short drive away. The charming town of Arkasa comes alive at night when the center is closed to vehicles, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for families. Dining options abound in the area, with many restaurants offering delicious local specialties. The small but delightful shops in town add to the overall charm of the location. For those looking to explore further afield, the beautiful city of Olympos is just an hour's drive away, making for a perfect day trip. I struggled to find any areas for improvement - our experience was simply flawless. Whether you're a couple, a small family, or a group of friends, Montemar Studios & Apartments offers the perfect base for exploring this beautiful region. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, location, and above all, the exceptional hospitality, makes this place stand out. I wholeheartedly recommend Montemar for an unforgettable stay in Arkasa.

“THE PLACE TO BE”

We loved our week at Montemar. The owner, Michael, is the perfect host. Professional, kind and manages the property really well, making you feel at home and making sure his guests have everything they need. The communication was smooth from the moment we booked, he helped us find a taxi from and to the airport and waited for us until our flight landed and we arrived at the property to show us around. He even left a bottle of wine for us in the house! I would recommend Montemar because it's the perfect spot in Karpathos if you want to see the real vibe of this place, quiet yet lively at the same time. The balcony gives you a nice view of the sunset. Only 3 minutes from the beach and 2 restaurants/beach bars. The center of Arkasa is 7-10 minutes walk and you can find plenty of bars, restaurants, the bakery, the pharmacy, 2 supermarkets and the bus stop only 5 minute walk. If you don't have a car like us, don't be scared to travel by local buses. The service is good, the ticket prices are fair and you can find the timetable at the property's reception as well. The house is super clean and the bedsheets/towels are changed every other day. We will definitely come back to Montemar our next stay in Karpathos!

Very nice view of the bay with the Arkassa paleokastro peninsula from the appartment. The soothing sea breeze keeps the apartments nicely ventilated during the night. A short walk from the beach and Arkassa itself.

“a perfect place to visit Karpathos”

the manager is very kind, the place is quiet, the room is spacious with a big terrace, the view gives on a very nice garden and on the see. there is a pretty beach at 200 meters and a very good restaurant nearby. The situation is perfect to visit the island. we have regrets to have left the place too early. we will return.
