“An excellent hotel in a lovely location with good facilities and an excellent breakfast”

Cleanliness, location, and facilities

We stayed at Hotel Princesa Parc with our two dogs and overall had a pleasant stay, although it did not quite meet our expectations. The lady who welcomed us at check-in was friendly and helpful, and we appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly. The welcome items provided for the dogs, together with the information and facilities for cleaning up after them, were thoughtful touches that many pet owners will appreciate. However, there were a few aspects that disappointed us. The room did not have air conditioning, which made it quite uncomfortable during the warmer weather. We had to keep the window open, and although the nearby river creates a constant and rather impressive sound, almost like natural rapids, it was not an ideal solution on hot nights. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable, but fairly standard and nothing particularly memorable. Likewise, the staff were professional enough, but we did not experience the same level of warmth or attentiveness that we have found in some other hotels. Nobody was unfriendly, but the service lacked that extra touch that makes a stay feel special. The location may work very well during the ski season, but in our experience it felt somewhat isolated. To reach the ski areas, the centre of town, restaurants or other attractions, having a car seemed almost essential. Overall, this is a decent hotel with some positive points, particularly for guests travelling with dogs. However, based on our experience, we felt there is room for improvement in terms of comfort, service and overall guest experience. A pleasant stay, but not one that particularly stood out.

A good hotel with nice interior and many activity possibilities. Dinner and breakfast were really good and they have a big selection. Unfortunately spa was not open while i was there. Maybe next time.
