Wonderful chateau and chateau garden, very well renovated, spotless clean, fabulous French breakfast including fresh fruit, baguette, croissants, fresh juice, coffee, cheese, yoghurt and jam. Lovely host. We enjoyed our stay snd woll come back.

Beautiful chateau in a wonderful location. Roxanne and Patrick are exceptional hosts and offered us the use of the entire grounds as well as to help ourselves to apples from the trees. Wonderful breakfast in their parlour with home made produce. An absolutely magical place to stay and we shall be back.

We were made welcome on arrival and were impressed by the beautiful buildings and grounds. The hosts were lovely people and made my son and I more than welcome. The breakfast was excellent and again nothing was any trouble. I would highly recommend.

The very impressive location was beautiful and peaceful. Positioned well off the main road at the bottom a tree lined drive in rural France. This was a really well presented Chateau owned and managed by an amazingly friendly French Canadian family who were a delight. I would happily stay there again and highly recommend it. Parking was private and safe. Mayenne was within easy reach as was many other historic jewels.

We were met by the owners who were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room was incredible. It had been restored sympathetically and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. A very large bathroom was superb. We walked around the gardens and visited the old chapel which was lovely. The owners also invited us to join them for an aperitif. The breakfast was very fresh with yogurt, honey, breads etc. The honey also made within the grounds. We cannot fault anything about our stay and would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

Exquisite!!! A true time capsule,managed by the lovelyest and most welcoming aristocratic couple. Best venue for a wedding ceremony or another special event. I highly recommend it instead of the regular hotels. 5 STARS

“ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC”

I don’t know where to start… Our stay with Roxanne and Patrick has simply been amazing. The castle is like a fairytale with jaw dropping decorations/art and incredibly large rooms. The gardens are a wonderful place to wander around while the chapel is perfect for a moment of silence. In the close surroundings are some great trails for walking and Lavas (approx. 15 mins by car) has a great selection of restaurants. Apart from all the beauty and luxury the hospitality of Roxanne and Patrick is like staying with family. They serve great breakfast when ever you feel like and they are always around to help out with any request you can think of. Don’t think again. Go. You won’t regret. And certainly you won’t forget.

The property is impeccable and the garden is beautiful. The château is very clean and the owners make you feel right at home. They are also very helpful with additional information about the region. We are looking forward to our next visit.

“Immaculate Chateau experience in a calm countryside setting”

A tastefully renovated Pigeonnerie with a new sparkling en suite bathroom and sitting room downstairs was our home for the night. The renovation has been made with an exceptional eye for detail - motion sensor light near the top of stairs in the bedroom etc. A very comfortable bed combined with a peaceful setting made for a very good night's sleep! Owners were delightful and let us wander the beautiful gardens - everything is immaculate!
