“A great option to enjoy a lovely town.”
Very central close to the main square of a delightful jewel of a town. Good facilities including a kitchen. Even had a bath available!

Very confusing street appearance. There was no-one in the building, and no way to contact anyone. To get upstairs where the rooms are, there was a rickety steep, spiral staircase that I considered dangerous. No view of the river, which was advertised, and no access to a balcony, which was also advertised. The tv did not work. The bedside lamps did not work. The bed was not made and the duvet cover was washed but not ironed. There was nowhere to hang the towels. The step down into the very small bathroom was a deathtrap and needs a warning. It seems this tasteful building conversion needs some serious tweeks. We would not return.

The location was convenient, and the room was comfortable. It was nice to have kitchen facilities, though we did not use them.

“A nice surprise”
The room was very comfortable and reburbished to a high standard. I could see the river from my window and the town centre and station were both only 5 minutes away. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The toilet and shower are seperate which can be good when staying as a couple. Downstairs there were cooking facilities and a pool table though I didn't use them. The spiral staircase could be an issue for someone with heavy bags but I loved it! The town itself was a lovely suprise and worth the stopover.
